Inter-house Cross Country: Pushing Past the Pain

13th January 2026

Pupils took part in an exciting Inter-House Cross Country event held across the 2nd week of Term 2, with races scheduled by age group: Under 7 on Tuesday, Under 9 on Wednesday, Under 11 on Thursday, and Under 13 on Friday. Each race presented its own challenges, testing stamina, focus, and determination as pupils navigated the demanding course.

While cross country can be physically and mentally tough, pupils showed admirable resilience throughout the week. Moments of fatigue and challenge were met with strong peer support, as classmates encouraged one another to keep going, helping many overcome difficult moments and reach the finish line with pride.

The results from this event will play a key role in selecting the 2026 Cross Country Squad, with successful athletes going on to represent the school in upcoming KAISSO or IAPS competitions. Well done to all pupils for their effort, perseverance, and positive sportsmanship throughout the event.
