International Day of The Boy Child

24th May 2025

On Friday, 16 May, representatives from the Community Service team visited The Door Christian Fellowship Church in Kibera to commemorate the International Day of the Boy Child, a day that acknowledges the unique challenges boys face and affirms their right to care, education, and opportunity.

In support of this cause, the team donated essential toiletries to meet some of the boys’ basic needs and show solidarity with the local community. The event also featured uplifting speeches by Eva-Emilia and Keith, who encouraged the boys to believe in themselves, dream boldly, and grow into confident, responsible young men. It was a heartfelt initiative to nurture and empower the next generation.

It was an honour to be part of such a meaningful initiative.
