We are absolutely thrilled to share some monumental news. Violinist Hiro (Year 7) has taken the international stage by storm, securing a major victory at the prestigious International Music Competition in Penne, Italy!

On May 19th, Hiro delivered a spectacular performance of Mozart’s Violin Concerto in G major. Facing a highly competitive field of world-class musicians, his brilliant technique and artistic expression truly set him apart from the other exceptional performers.

The judges were deeply impressed by his mastery, awarding him: First Prize in his division (junior category) and a prestigious scholarship to further support his musical education. To see Hiro dedication culminate in such a definitive international victory is incredibly inspiring. He represented us on the world stage with profound grace.

Please join us in sending Hiro our warmest congratulations on this spectacular achievement! We cannot wait to see where his talent takes him next.

In his own words: “On May 19, I was invited to participate in the International Music Competition, City of Penne, Italy, where I performed Mozart' s Violin Concerto in G Major. I was not nervous and managed to play well on that day. As a result, I was fortunate enough to win the first prize and scholarship. However, I was really impressed by the performances of other participants-most of whom were Italian-as their violin skills were truly great. It was a nice experience that I will never forget, and I would like to participate again if I have any chances in the future.” By Hiro, 7J
