Leadership Horizons

Leadership Horizons is a new initiative in the school to add to the extensive professional development opportunities our teachers enjoy. It provides a forum not only for quality leadership input from some of the world's most respected experts in the field, the opportunity to discuss issues with colleagues and learn from each other, but also that precious leadership essential - time. Time away from the many demands for attention on people, time to reflect, time to think.

Leadership Horizons is taking place once a month on a Saturday morning and is open to all the teachers and leadership team. The series began with 'Motivation', and the bold statement that not everyone should be a leader! Why? Because not everyone is doing it for the right goal and when that happens, people get hurt. We looked at the importance of motivation for the right reasons and the significant, positive, impact that this can make.
