Moana Jr – A Show to Remember!

On Friday 17th and Saturday 18th January, the Braeburn School theater was filled with excitement as our Year 5 and 6 pupils took the stage to perform the vibrant and heartwarming musical, Moana Jr. Based on the beloved Disney story, the production captivated audiences with its unforgettable songs, stunning choreography, and stellar performances.
It was truly inspiring to see our 9, 10 and 11-year-old actors and actresses bring this iconic tale to life. From the energetic dancing to the powerful singing and impressive acting, the level of talent on display was nothing short of awe-inspiring. Our performing artists not only demonstrated their creativity and dedication but also showed how much they had grown throughout the process.
One of the most special moments of the production was witnessing some pupils who were initially shy or hesitant, truly shine on stage. Many of our performers surprised themselves with their confidence and projection, a testament to their hard work and the encouragement they received along the way.
The success of this performance would not have been possible without the incredible support from our dedicated teachers, theater staff, and, of course, the parents who took the performers to and for rehearsals countless times.
