Our Horse Riders are Making Great Strides!

25th January 2023

Our horse riding club recently celebrated pupils' progress at the New Muthaiga Stables. Parents were invited to come and watch the group sessions, after which there was a short ceremony to award the riders with certificates. Well done to the 8 children who achieved the Beginners Level 5 in Horse Riding and Horsemanship and the 9 children who also passed the Intermediate Level 3; we are so proud of your enthusiasm and willingness to face new challenges. Keep it up!

We currently have 18 children and thank those on the waiting list for their patience. Some of the riders have been attending for 5 years and are passionate about the sport.

In March 2023, we hope to take our 'elite' team riders to their second competition. This is exciting and gives us plenty of time to practise honing our cantering and jumping skills, as well as participate in some active games. Last time we came back with a trophy, so the pressure is on!

Thanks go to Mrs Bailey: the Equestrian Club Coordinator, Arnest and Francis - the instructors at the stables - and to the parents for their continuous encouragement.
