Padel Pioneers: U9s Shine at Inaugural Festival

Friday, 16th January marked an exciting milestone for Braeburn sports as our U9 athletes took to the courts for the first-ever U9 Padel Festival hosted at St. Christopher’s.
In a friendly yet high-energy atmosphere involving The Banda, St. Christopher’s and Braeburn, our pupils became the perfect ambassadors for this fast-growing sport. We were proudly represented by four dynamic pairs:
The Boys’ Teams:
- Earl & David
- Hidde & Ethan
The Girls’ Teams:
- Sia & Mahi
- Kezzy & Jazmin
Each pair played an impressive five matches, displaying fantastic teamwork and resilience. More importantly, the children had an incredible amount of fun, building confidence and forging new friendships with players from other schools.
A huge well done to our U9s for representing the school with such positivity! The excitement now continues as our U11s take to the courts on 30th January — we can’t wait!
