Pads Drive combines with Cancer Awareness

18th October 2024

Braeburn School Community Service Team showed how important supporting those less fortunate is. With a well-coordinated campaign which included a non-uniform, wear it red day, to raise money and donations for pads. This successful drive was run during breast cancer awareness month when we focused on closing the gap - not only for cancer treatment but for the supply of sanitary towels in poorer communities. Raising KSh. 18600 with additional donations, the Community Service Team together with members of FAB distributed the pads to girls in schools in Kabira on Friday 11th October 2024. Thank you to Ms Pamela Nyawade (Primary School) for this initiative.
