27th September 2025
Wednesday, September 24th marked an exciting and purposeful evening for our Year 9 parents. The event began in the Library, where parents gathered with thoughtful questions about how we support students as they transition into high school. Discussions highlighted the different ways the school is improving, with key focus on the academic, social, and emotional structures in place to help students thrive. Parents also had the opportunity to gain a clearer overview of how we are integrating Artificial Intelligence into teaching and learning.
Following this, parents met one-on-one with Year 9 subject teachers, receiving valuable updates on how their children are settling in and progressing after five weeks in high school. These personalised conversations provided a meaningful opportunity to celebrate achievements and identify areas for continued growth.
The evening was a great success, and I would like to sincerely thank our supportive parents for taking the time to attend this forum, our senators for their commitment and helpfulness, and all staff, both teaching and non-teaching, for their continued dedication and contribution to the success of the event.
We also want to remind parents that our channels of communication remain open throughout the year. Whether through scheduled Parents–Teacher Conferences, our open-door policy, or via teachers’ emails (accessible through the Meet the Teachers document that was shared), you are always welcome to reach out. For those who couldn’t attend, we have included the presentation link. Your partnership and support make all the difference in ensuring our students’ success.
