Primary Inter-House Off to a Strong Start

11th September 2022

The Braeburn Inter-House Sports competition for the 2022/2023 season was from Tuesday the 6th of September to Thursday the 8th. This competition plays an integral role in the development of a community spirit, providing opportunities and challenges to nurture personal growth in pupils and for the selection of our athletics team in preparation for training for Braeburn Kasarani and the IAPS Athletics meet.

With the Under 9, Under 11 and Under 13 participating, there was a great demonstration of team spirit, sportsmanship, and leadership attributes. The track and field events were particularly exciting, with students taking delight in participating and working as a unit in their different houses.

All students did really well in all the athletics disciplines undertaken, sparing no effort in picking up maximum points for their houses. We look forward to top representations and success in a variety of athletic disciplines this term.

The overall athletics inter-house results were:

1st place Chui with 533 points

2nd place Kifaru with 520 points

3rd place Ndovu with 518 points

4th place Twiga with 499 points.
