Regular Stock of New Books for our Library!

11th May 2024

The arrival of new books in our school library has a profound impact on students fostering a culture of reading and broadening their horizons. Every term we have a library budget allocated to ensure that the school library remains well-stocked with a diverse range of books, resources and materials that cater to the academic needs and interests of the students.

This influx of fresh literature not only provides students with access to diverse perspectives and knowledge but also encourages them to explore new genres and authors. A robust reading culture brings numerous benefits that extend beyond the enjoyment of a good book.

One of our primary goals is to enhance student engagement with our library resources. We have seen a significant rise in the number of students utilising resources available in the library. This increased engagement not only enriches students' academic experiences but also fosters a love for reading and learning.

This has not only impacted a reading culture and cognitive stimulation but also language and literacy development. Whether students enjoy fiction, non-fiction or graphic novels, there is something for everyone. Reading opens doors to new possibilities and enriches our lives in many ways, thus the need to encourage our students to immerse themselves in the joy of reading and sharing their book recommendations with us. Thank you for being part of our reading community.
