The U19 girls had their first outing of the term at the Rosslyn sports festival this Saturday. Exciting event right off the bat, with the girls facing Peponi in their first match. In what was an interesting twist of fate, the team had to take penalty shootouts versus ISK in the determiner of the playoffs. We faced off against the tournament giants Mwiki High School, exiting the semis with a 2-0 loss, but after what must have been the most impressive performance of the tournament. Well done girls! We look forward to the coming weeks and better outcomes ahead.

A gritty, dramatic day ended in glory as the U19 boys hockey team lifted the Rosslyn title. After battling through a tight group—drawing 0–0 with Oshwal and narrowly losing 1–0 to Rosslyn and Mwiki, Braeburn squeezed into the semi-finals on head-to-head.
A composed 1–0 win over Mwiki set up an intense final against Oshwal. Braeburn dominated play, created chances, and held their nerve when it mattered most, winning the penalty shootout 1–0.
Well done, Braeburn a well deserved victory!

It was a fantastic day of basketball for the U15 boys as they hosted St Christopher’s and Jawabu, securing two impressive home victories.
The opening match against St Christopher’s was a closely fought contest, with the boys showing great composure and teamwork to earn a 21–16 win, using strong defence and smart decision-making in the closing stages. Confidence carried into the second fixture, where they delivered a dominant performance against Jawabu, playing with pace and control to claim a convincing 64–33 victory.
Overall, it was a superb display of skill, teamwork, and determination. The results reflect the boys’ hard work in training. Well done to all involved on a brilliant day of basketball at home.
