The Braeburn School scouts troop is an active and valued part of the school community. The scouts troop is divided into groups called patrols. Each patrol must have a leader who is in charge of ensuring that all the instructions of the patron and the scouts' leaders are relayed to the scouts. To enhance the effectiveness of the patrol leaders, the international schools in Kenya decided that we need to bequeath the necessary skills to the patrol leaders. Therefore a residential training workshop was mooted by the scouts' leaders and it took place at Braeburn Imani School this past weekend. The scouts enjoyed a packed weekend of activities aimed at leadership development, as well as a lovely campfire.
The training attained will help the scouts to have brilliant leadership skills for now and future.
