Seven Hills for Seven Hikers

30th September 2024

Our first hike started out as a glorious affair as we walked through the entrance gate to the Ngong Hills from Corner Baridi. It's a tough 12km hike from one gate to the other over the undulating hills up and down some very steep, rocky and narrow pathways. Good progress was made and commendation must go to all the student participants for their resilience to keep on going. When the heavens opened with torrential rain and thunder 1.5km from the end point it made for a cold and soggy end to a wonderful day out.

The next hike is on 26th October to Olesyeti; it would be great to see a few more hikers coming along.
