Spirited Efforts from the Under 13 Girls @ The IAPS Cricket Tournament

Braeburn went into their first match against Peponi very confident. They batted first and batted well, showing that they have really taken on board Coach Ruth's advice to try and really drive through the ball. They held Peponi to a really close end result, with Peponi winning by a single run.
Facing Hillcrest in the next game, some lovely shots were made by Terrell and Steph, and they managed to secure a good amount of runs for Hillcrest to chase. We fought hard with our fielding and really tried to attack the bowling, but Hillcrest pulled off some excellent shots that couldn't be stopped. In the third match against Pembroke, Terrell's standout performance included impressive 4's.
While the overall result weren't in their favour, the Under 13 girls had a commendable season, achieving notable wins against Hillcrest and Peponi. Congratulations to the team for a spirited and determined season.
