The U15 boys hockey team showed immense character and resilience as they bounced back from narrowly missing out on a semifinal spot to clinch the Plate Competition, edging past St Christopher’s in a thrilling 2–0 penalty shootout victory.
After a tough tournament phase, the boys responded in the best possible way - focused, united, and hungry. The final was a tense and evenly contested affair, with both teams battling hard through regulation time. When it came down to penalties, our boys held their nerve, with Felix and Victor calmly converting their efforts to seal a well-deserved win.
Beyond the result, the tournament proved to be hugely positive for the group. There was clear growth in team chemistry, improved attacking structure, and sharper decision-making in the final third. The players played with confidence, intensity, and togetherness - key signs of a team moving in the right direction

The U15 girls hockey team had an excellent outing this past weekend at the Hillcrest Tournament. It was a mixed start for the team, with a resounding win against Oshwal starting off the day. Despite a temporary scare in matches versus Braeside and Hillcrest, the girls found their zeal and proceeded to the semi-finals versus Braeburn Garden Estate. Here, the girls reaffirmed their place with a solid 3-0 victory to proceed to the finals. The girls final was the event to watch, as Braeburn battled Hillcrest in a tense encounter. Keeper Claire Wambugu kept us in the game after saving a penalty flick. Ultimately, we finished with a 0-0 draw, necessitating penalty shootouts that ended in a 1-0 loss. The team brought home silver and Aila Dunn (Yr 9) was the tournament’s most valuable player; both testament to the girls’ never ending resilience. Great work, Team!

On Wednesday, 4th February 2026, our U19 Boys Basketball team hosted our neighbouring sister school, Braeside, in what was surely an intense and thrilling match that ended up in victory for us by 49- 41 baskets. We started off a bit slow of the mark by trailing Braeside by 4 baskets within the opening 2 minutes but slowly picked up our performance, energy, and confidence as the match went on. Our U19 Boys showed grit, hunger, passion, and fight till the end to defend our badge and were rewarded with a victory at the end of the game. In the end, it was a combination of teamwork, hard work, passion, and calmness that guided us to victory.
The work done by the coach is truly implemented on the court and can only hope for more wins for both our basketball teams.
We're truly up and running and ready for more as the season builds on.
Special performances from: Emmanuel Koech, Spencer Nyachoti, Musyoka Muita, Bernard Kubai, and Wesley Nyamita.

It was a tough day for the U19 girls who went against a strong Braeside team. This was the biggest challenge of the season so far but the girls played football right up until the last minute. Despite losing by quite a margin, I am proud of the girls for their integrity and resilience to keep pushing on. We will take what we have learnt back to training and are hoping for a more successful result in our next fixture.
