Tue 30 – U15 Boys Football vs Brookhurst Lavington @ Impala

A great day for the U15 boys today who did really well in their match against Brookhurst. It was a slow start in the 1st half with it ending 0 - 0. In the 2nd half Braeburn were a lot more confident and started to challenge their opponents. Jayson and Eli were on the scoresheet again for their second game running provided by the assists from Nathanael and Lui. A special mention also to our keeper, Jonathan, who made so many great saves in the match. Overall a great 2-0 win from the boys. MVP: Eli Kasidhi

Wed 1 – U19 Girls Netball vs Hillcrest A & B @ BGR

It was a great afternoon for the U19B girls yesterday as they faced Hillcrest in a friendly fixture.

The team demonstrated great attacking play, moving the ball quickly and with precision. The strong communication on court allowed them to anticipate each other’s movements and maintain control of the game from the outset.

What made the performance even more remarkable was that the side was made up almost entirely of U15 players, many of whom were competing against older and more experienced opponents for the first time. Their confidence, energy, and teamwork shone through, securing a convincing 25–11 victory and highlighting the depth of talent within the squad.

Thu 2 – U15 Boys Cricket vs Hillcrest @ Hillcrest

Our captain Tanaka won the toss and decided to bat first.

We started off on the backfoot losing 2 quick wickets. But with a partnership from Ibraheem and Ariyana we recovered well and managed to put up 87 for the loss of 7 wickets.

Going to bowl after the innings break Hillcrest got off to a flying start. Tanaka and Kavan fought back hard with the ball but were unable to get a breakthrough.

The boys and girl can be proud of their performance and how they managed to keep their heads High throughout the game. The improvement on last week’s performance!

We will continue to work hard and come back stronger after half term. πŸ’ͺ
