U15 Boys Football A vs St Austin @ St Austin 3.00pm

U15 A’s played against St Austin’s today in a friendly fixture. St Austin’s set up well and scored a goal early on in the first-half. There were some slight improvements from the BGR team but not enough to change things at half time. In the second half BGR was a much better team and improved vastly. Salins crossed the ball in towards Nathanael and with a stroke of luck it entered the goal. BGR kept on pushing with good footwork from Idan earning us a penalty. Idan unfortunately missed the penalty with a great save from the opposition keeper. St Austin’s pushed on and in the last minutes of the game scored a set piece goal. The game ended 2-1 to St Austin’s.

U15 Girls Netball

The Under 15 Girls played St. Austin’s on Monday afternoon, opening the week after an extended break from weekly fixtures. The team put up a valiant effort, taking an early lead and holding it to the very end of the match. Having managed to maintain possession throughout the encounter, the team finished with a resounding 30-12 win. Congratulations, girls! We look forward to similar wins in the coming KAISSO Division 1 Tournament, and trust we will bring home the gold!

U19 Girls Netball @ BGR

The Under 19 girls stepped onto the court against St. Austin’s on Tuesday afternoon, hoping to extend the win recorded on Monday by the U15 team. Unfortunately, this was not to be as the team slipped in the first quarter and could not fully recover to the end of the match; which ended in a shock 20-18 loss. Nevertheless, we laud the girls’ efforts and their resilience to the end, trusting the inevitability of occasional bad days on the court and believing in better outcomes up ahead. Keep on keeping on girls. You have always been stars; your time to shine is coming.

U15 Boys Football LEAGUE final

U15’s football team attended the KAISSO finals being held at BGE. They were knocked out of the group stages unfortunately, narrowly missing out on qualifying. The games were tight losing to St Andrews Turi and Makini school 1-0 in both games. Great performances saw the team win against German School and Brookhouse Karen 2-0 in both games. Special mention to Kuya who scored all of our teams goals.
