U19 Boys Rugby

Our U19 boys attended a rugby tournament held at Rosslyn on Saturday. A momentous occasion where some players were representing Braeburn sport for the final time before graduating. The team started off really well winning their first group match game convincingly against ISK 2. They then went on to play a tough Rosslyn side and managed a draw despite some difficult challenges and injuries. Having successfully topped the group, Braeburn were through to the semi finals against Hillcrest. It was an interesting start with back to back action.

Unfortunately, Braeburn were reduced to just 4 players by the end of the game as the team struggled with further injuries. Nonetheless, they showed great resilience and pursed the game right until the end. A great performance from each and every player.

U15 Girls Rugby League🏉

The U15 girls had a chance to truly test their mettle last Saturday in Brookhouse Runda’s phase of the rugby series. The day kicked off slowly with a loss to St Andrew’s Turi. Nevertheless, the team picked up as the day progressed, securing a win over Brookhouse Runda and a draw vs Braeside Thika. The girls finished third in the pool. We are trusting the process and confident of greater successes in the coming weeks.
