U15 Boys Football A&B vs Braeside @BGR 1-0 win!

Braeburn U15 B with a 1-0 win against Braeside. Man of the match Jeremy with the only goal of the day. Jayden Kariuki gave the sweetest of through-balls straight through the Braeside defence leaving Jeremy Kabugi with only the keeper to beat. Jeremy shot into the top corner leaving the keeper with no chance. Well done, Braeburn School!

U19 Boys Football A only 11 aside @ Braeside 2-1 win!

U19 boys football with a 2-1 win against Braeside. Goal scorers Adama and Jayden.

At the start of the match our team was a bit tense and conceded the first goal. Braeburn kept pressing on and scored an equaliser: Adama. Full of belief, confidence and resilience, the boys took the field for the last quarter. Jayden saw an opportunity and took the shot and found the net.

U15 Girls Netball A&B vs Braeside @BGR Team A 22-11 win! Team B 14-4 win!

The U15 girls' teams had a relatively relaxed afternoon, playing versus Braeside at home. It was a chance to review the lessons from the past week for the B team and for the As to get back to the action after a week off. The girls maintained strong leads from the first minute of both matches. Ultimately, Team A finished with a 22-11 win, while B won 14-4. Great afternoon overall 😊 congratulations to both teams

U19 Girls Netball A & B @ Braeside - Team A win!

We had a delightful afternoon for the Under 19 girls on the astro. Teams A and B both recorded big wins, with the Year 11s thrilled with the opportunity to play as a unit in Team B and the Year 12 and 13 girls forming the first team. After a few false starts, Team A pulled ahead and eventually claimed the win. Team B hit the ground running, taking and maintaining a strong lead to the end of the match. Lovely show...Great times. Incredibly proud of both teams.

U15 Mixed Squash @Peponi school

Braeburn U15 A’s lost the battle in the game against Braeside A’s. 3 goals were conceded in the first half where our defence had been caught out. We tried starting strong in the second- half but couldn’t apply enough pressure. We had a very good chance to score but narrowly missed hitting the crossbar. A goal was conceded in the second-half with the final score 4-0 to Braeside.

U15 and U19 Mixed Badminton @Peponi School

Braeburn attended the badminton KAISSO tournament entering 3 U15 girls and 3 U19 boys. It was a tough afternoon as there was some great talent in attendance. Nonetheless, they all put in the effort and managed to perform at a decent level. Well done to Ariyana and Hayley who managed to make it to the quarter finals of the competition.

U17 & U19 Girls Basketball vs RVA @BGR 33-13 win!

The Under 19 girls were a sight to behold on Friday afternoon as they welcomed Brookhouse Karen for the final netball league fixture. There was no doubt from the start who was to be the victor as the team gained an early lead and kept at it. Sure shots from Natalie, Amanda, and Andrea kept the team comfortably ahead. Special mention to Naana, our super defender, on her first goal of the season, ending the game 33-13. Congratulations girls! Keep up the great work.

U17 Boys football with a 1-1 draw against RVA.

We fielded a young squad with four U15 boys. Braeburn took the lead through Adama slicing the ball below the keeper. A lapse in defence led the first shot for RVA which they converted. Final score 1-1. Mvp Ryan Sodi.
