Peponi Relays

The athletics team at Peponi was a refreshing change of pace from team events and the long distance running that has characterised the term so far. The team reported bright and early, beginning the day with a resounding win from Tara Elliot-Lopez in the first event, U15 girls 1500m. As the day progressed, the pupils had the chance to showcase their prowess in individual events and the relays. Also bringing home first place in their events were Nerrie Omino, Migi Atinga, and Merci Maanzo. Sarah and Pavithra Nair finished second. Kaizer, Malaika, and Kigen brought home third place finishes, as did Nerry in her second event and the Under 19 boys relay team. Overall, there was a great mood of positivity and support. Special mention to Seanice, Enzi, and Noni who stepped up last minute to fill in for missing athletes. Good work girls and boys. Keep on putting in the work, keep on being the stars you are.

Boys Football 7-a-side tournament @RVA

The boys had some real good moments of play in all of the matches in which they were involved but just could not score enough goals. Well done to the U15 players stepping up and performing in today’s tournament. A mention also to our captain William and defender Jewell who were solid in defence and fought really hard for the team.
