Swahili Breakfast with Year 5 at Artcaffe

On March 24th and 25th, our Year 5 pupils visited the vibrant Artcaffe restaurant, turning a meal into a dynamic Swahili-learning experience.
Beyond enjoying delicious food, they confidently ordered in Swahili, asked for the bill, and calculated the amount due in Kenya shillings — blending language skills with real-world math.
This cross-curricular outing made language learning both practical and enjoyable, leaving pupils with a memorable and enriching experience!
