The Banda Trophy Golf Tournament

The Banda Trophy, an annual golf tournament, was held on Monday 30th January at the Karen Golf and Country Club. Braeburn had initially planned to enter two teams of 4, but due to some illnesses, only 2 pupils were able to participate. Palash Tank, and Hope Oduor, both in Year 5, did a fantastic job of representing Braeburn by scoring 14 and 13 stableford points respectively. They managed to finish in 5th place out of the 6 teams that took part, this with only two players.

The winning team from Peponi School, made up of Year 8 boys, had a cumulative score of 59 with 4 players, compared to our score of 27 with 2 players.

Well done to the two golfers for flying the Braeburn flag high!
