1st November 2023
On Wednesday, 1st November, The Braeburn community of pupils, parents, teachers and friends converged at a massive fire pit set up in the middle of the school field for the annual Bonfire Night, to celebrate the British history of Guy Fawkes Day. Lots of laughter and cheer could be heard on the field as a 50 plus strong drumming circle beat African drums in loud unison, children jumped high on bouncy castles, and parents chatted and caught up with other families and teachers.
The highlight of the event was a spectacular display of fireworks that sent vibrant and colourful shooting stars across the black sky. It was an evening of good cheer, wrapped up in warm community spirit. Thank you to FAB (Friends at Braeburn), parents, staff, and the numerous service providers who worked very hard to make the day memorable!
