The Holiday Pony Club

A fantastic week was had at Pony Club, held from 17th to 21st April. There was riding, jumping, cantering, walks on a horse and horse walking. There was also tacking up, tack removing and tack cleaning (tack being the reins, saddle, etc.). There was grooming, washing and hoof picking, not forgetting the ‘salon de horses’ with pretty bows and plenty of plaiting. Lastly, there was chopping and feeding, with lots of beautiful bunny cuddles with the rabbits at the stables. We had an average of 19 to 20 children a day ranging from 3 years to 15 years, with a total of 32 children attending the club during the course of the week.
A huge thank you to the New Muthaiga Stables team, Miss Susan, Mrs. Childs and all the lovely horses for being so fabulous and really engaging us.
