The IAPS Athletics Meet 2022

The 2022 IAPS Athletics Meet took place on Saturday 3rd December at Hillcrest School in Nairobi. All 10 IAPS Kenya schools were in attendance, competing in various track and field events.
The day kicked off slightly chilly and grey, with pupils competing in field events such as ball throw, javelin, discus, long jump, and high jump. When the sun finally made its appearance, it was on to the track events such as the 1500 and 800, 400, 200, 100 and 75 metre runs, including 4 X 100 metre relays. There were some impressive performances by a number of our athletes, and equally important was the great attitude shown by all of them; from filling in for team mates who could not compete for one reason or other, to cheering and encouraging each other during performances.
