The IAPS U9 Netball and Rugby Festival @ BGE

Braeburn School made a stellar performance at the IAPS Under 9 Netball and Rugby Festival held at Braeburn Garden Estate on Thursday, June 6th. The netball team showcased exceptional skill and determination, winning all their matches. They defeated Braeburn Mombasa 12-0, Kenton 2-0, Peponi 6-2, BGE B 7-0, and Pembroke 8-1. The team had set a goal to win every game, and through their unwavering focus and teamwork, they achieved their aim with outstanding results. This impressive streak highlights the dedication and hard work of both the players and their coaches.

The boys' rugby team also delivered a commendable performance. They started strong with victories against Braeburn Nanyuki (25-10) and BGE B (15-5). The match against Turi ended in a 10-10 draw, showcasing a well-fought contest. Despite losses to The Banda (20-15) and Hillcrest (25-15), the boys bounced back with a resounding 30-10 win over Peponi. Their overall performance was marked by resilience and sportsmanship, making the school proud. Both teams' successes at the festival underscore Braeburn's commitment to excellence in sports and the importance of teamwork and perseverance.
