The Knitting Club’s Projects Take Shape

15th June 2023

The knitting and crochet club has come a long way since the beginning of the school year, and their journey has borne fruits of beautiful hats, scarfs, mats and so much more. It has been encouraging to see our knitters who initially struggled to thread their needles or hold their wool and needle in one hand, now able to do so with no assistance, weaving their way to pieces that even they originally thought were an ambitious task.

Not only are they in the last mile of completing their projects beautifully, but they have also developed skills such as eye-hand coordination, fine and gross-motor coordination, consistency and dedication, as well as concentration over an extended period of time. Well done to our knitters!
