The Season Has Begun

Last week saw the football season get off to a great start for many of our girls and boys U9 and U13 teams, the U11s delaying by a week due to their fixture day falling on the public holiday.
There were some closely competed games as they took on the top teams from Hillcrest. All the Braeburn teams played with great spirit, attitude, positive team play and a determination to do their best for Braeburn and each other. Fortunately they were a lot more focused on playing football than they were in having their team photo taken. As a result all the players greatly enjoyed playing, winning 7 matches, drawing 2 and losing 2. We are looking forward to further developing our skills and understanding of the game as the season progresses and the players can't wait to get back out on the field again.
