U7 Footballers Shine at The Banda Festival

The Braeburn U7 mixed football team showcased immense talent and determination at The Banda U7 Football Festival, holding their own against six strong teams.
The squad kicked off the tournament with a solid 1-0 victory over Kyuna Kindergarten, setting a positive tone for the day. This was followed by a closely contested match where Braeburn edged out Durham with a 2-1 win, demonstrating growing confidence on the pitch.
Although they faced a tough opponent in Brookhouse Karen, narrowly losing 1-0, the team's resilience remained unshaken. They bounced back immediately with a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Kiota School.
The undisputed highlight of the day was a dominant 5-0 win over the Banda Sharks. A special mention goes to team captain, Eyad, who scored a remarkable hat trick during this match! Throughout the festival, the U7 team displayed exceptional teamwork, sportsmanship, and growth, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who watched. Well done, team!
