U9 Hillcrest Hockey Festival

The U9 hockey festival is an annual event and this year we were treated to a fantastic sporting display of skill, determination and quality competition. The festival brought together 9 different schools and over 200 pupils. 22 boys and girls represented Braeburn at Hillcrest School.
Our teams were provided with a good challenge by the opposing teams, however, they did not lose their cool and the girls achieved 8 wins and 1 draw out of their 9 games. The boys team stayed resolute and emerged victorious in the majority of their matches, drawing 2 and losing narrowly one. The players enjoyed the participation as well as the keenly fought competition.
It was another great sporting experience for our talented youngsters and a great way for them to wrap up the hockey season. Well done to the hockey teams!
