U9 Netballers Stay Unbeaten at IAPS Festival!

4th June 2026

Coming off a well-deserved half-term break, our Under 9 netball team arrived at the Braeburn Garden Estate Netball Festival on Thursday 4th June full of energy, enthusiasm and determination. The girls got off to a strong start with a 3–0 victory against BGE B before edging past Pembroke House 3–2 in a closely contested match. One of their toughest fixtures of the day came against Banda, but the team showed great resilience and teamwork to secure an impressive 5–3 win. Further victories followed against BGE A (3–0), Peponi (7–0), Kenton College (2–1), and Braeburn Nanyuki (5–1).

The girls saved their biggest performance for last, finishing the festival with a remarkable 10–1 victory over St Andrew’s Turi. Completing the day unbeaten was a fantastic achievement and one that the team was rightly proud of. Throughout the festival, the players demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, teamwork and determination, applying the skills they have worked hard to develop throughout the season. While the results were certainly worth celebrating, the team knows there is still plenty of work to do. With several challenges still ahead before the end of the netball season, it is back to the training court to continue sharpening skills and striving for further improvement.
