Braeburn’s Under 11 Boys A cricket team showed great effort at the 6-a-side tournament held on Saturday, 23rd November, at Pembroke School. They made a strong start in the group stage, securing a solid victory over Hillcrest to advance to the knockout rounds. Their all-round performance, with key contributions from both bat and ball, highlighted their teamwork and determination.
In the Plate semifinals, the boys faced a tough challenge against Pembroke A. Despite a competitive match, they were narrowly defeated by 13 runs. While the loss was disappointing, the team’s resilience and growth throughout the tournament were evident. Their positive attitude and commitment made the event a memorable experience and they look forward to future opportunities to build on their performance.
