Under 11 Boys Take the Plate at The Brookhouse Football Tournament

The U11 Boys A Team had an amazing finish in this year's football tournament hosted by Brookhouse School. Despite a shaky start against Kenton and Banda, and a draw against Pembroke and Turi, our boys ranked fourth in their pool, having found it frustratingly difficult to convert a number of scoring opportunities that they created. They moved on to the Plate Competition. At last the goals began to come, with Felix scoring a goal against Hillcrest in the semi-final, progressing the team into the final. Our boys played extremely well against Pembroke in the final, getting a win on the last play with Finnley giving a quick throw in to Amir, who skilled past the last defender, successfully shooting for goal. What a finish for the boys. They worked hard for each other in every game and deservedly reaped some reward. Well done to the Under 11 A Boys team!
