Under 13 Rugby Team Shows Grit at Hillcrest Tournament

On Saturday, May 18th, Braeburn's Under 13 rugby team showcased their determination and skill at the Hillcrest School rugby tournament. Placed in a challenging group with formidable opponents including The Banda, St. Christopher's, Pembroke House and BGE, our team faced a tough task. Despite this, the players demonstrated remarkable resilience and sportsmanship. Each game was a testament to their determination and grit, as they continuously gave their all on the field. Their impressive performance, characterised by strategic plays and unwavering team spirit, not only earned them respect but also valuable experience against top-tier teams.

As the team looks forward to the much-anticipated Ndume 7s competition, their commitment to improvement is evident. They have been practising hard and attending extra training sessions, honing their skills and building on the lessons learned from every fixture they play. The spirit and camaraderie developed during this challenging tournament have galvanised the team, and they are more determined than ever to excel in the upcoming matches.
