Under 9 Boys and Girls B Teams Thrive at KAISSO Hockey Tournament

Braeburn’s Under 9 Boys and Girls B teams exhibited exceptional skill and sportsmanship at the KAISSO Hockey Tournament held at St. Christopher’s School on February 22nd, competing alongside nine other schools, including Braeside Lavington, Brookside Runda, Braeburn Nanyuki, St. Austins, Oshwal Academy, Braeside Thika, Nairobi International, and Aga Khan School. Throughout the tournament, Braeburn’s teams displayed a commendable effort, securing victories in several games, drawing a few, and conceding only one match out of the five group stage matches.
It was inspiring to witness our players' enthusiasm and determination to perform at their best in every game, showcasing not only their athletic abilities but also their commitment to fair play. Despite the sweltering heat, the teams demonstrated good sportsmanship, reflecting Braeburn’s values. The tournament proved to be a valuable experience for the Under 9 B teams, leaving them eager to return next year, more prepared and determined after savouring the exhilaration that comes with competitive play in a tournament setting.
