It was a lovely morning at Braeburn as the u15 girls rugby team hosted Rift Valley Academy in a special morning of rugby. In the first match, the U15 A finished in a 10-0 win vs RVA. The second game ended in a 10-5 for the Braeburn A team vs the B team. In the third match, our second team held their own to finish the game with a 10-10 draw vs RVA. Lovely splash in the mud today! We are looking forward to the new season.

A fun day for the U19โs Braeburn volleyball squads making history forming a team for the very first time. With many of the team only being introduced to volleyball with a weeks training, they did well to represent the school playing in high spirits and improving as the games went on. A special mention to Janelle for the girls team as well as Benjamin and Hany for the boys. Despite losing to ISK there was great team cohesion, efforts from all of the players and positivity all around. Small steps in the right direction.

Our U14 Girls Volleyball team showed incredible courage and enthusiasm in their first-ever competitive volleyball match against Rosslyn Academy.
Although the girls lost:
* Set 1: 11โ25
* Set 2: 8โ25
this was a huge milestone as it was both the schoolโs first participation in volleyball and the playersโ first competitive experience.
The team displayed great determination, teamwork, and resilience throughout the match. Special mention goes to Mars and Chante for their outstanding performances and positive attitude on court.
A fantastic start to what promises to be an exciting volleyball journey for the girls.

League Opener: Girls Secure Commanding 14-2 Win Over SCIS
The U15 girlsโ basketball season started with a bang this week as they secured a dominant 14-2 victory over SCIS in their first league game.
This was a particularly impressive result given the squad's profile; a young team primarily made up of Year 9 students, many were competing and playing the sport at this level for the very first time. Their composure and teamwork throughout the game showed a maturity as they managed to control the tempo from start to finish.
The energy and effort on display were top-tier, and this performance sets a fantastic tone for the rest of the season. It is an incredibly promising start for this group, and there is plenty of excitement to see how they continue to develop throughout the term.
MVP: Aida Siang
