The U17 boys basketball team put in a determined performance against Hillcrest in a closely contested match. Both teams showed great energy and intensity from the start, with strong defensive play making every point hard-earned.
The boys worked well as a team, moving the ball effectively and creating scoring opportunities. Despite their effort and resilience throughout the game, Hillcrest managed to maintain a slight lead, and the match ended with a final score of 27–21.
With this result, the team bows out of the cup at the quarter-final stage. Although the result did not go in our favour, the boys showed great commitment and sportsmanship on the court. The game provided valuable experience, and the team will no doubt take important lessons from it as they continue to develop this season MVP - Emmanuel Koech
