The U15’s attended the Peponi 7’s tournament playing in a group against Hillcrest, BGE and Peponi. The first game against BGE didn’t go so well with BGE winning the game by 5 trys. BGR then went on to play Hillcrest and were leading confidently at half time. Unfortunately, they were not able to withstand the pressure and conceded a try in the last few seconds of the game.
Finally, we went on to play Peponi and the boys were truly switched on. It was a tough battle but BGR came out victorious in the end. Overall BGR B finished in 3rd place. Special mentions to Lui, Jonathan, Spencer and Noah as stand out performances.

What an exciting weekend at Hillcrest Secondary School, as our Under 15 Girls rugby team took part in the second leg of the rugby league series! The team began the day with a narrow win over Brookhouse Karen, finishing 7-5 after an intense 7-minute matchup. The second game culminated in a great win against Nairobi Academy, with the game ending 19-0. In the subsequent matchup versus St Christopher's International School, grit and resilience on our part gave us another win, ending 12-5 in our favor. The team lost the last two matches to BGE and Turi. Nevertheless, it was a great outing for the girls, and a lovely show from the team.

The U15 Boys Rugby team played their first home game of the season against SCIS in an exciting and competitive fixture.
The boys started slowly and struggled to find their rhythm in the opening game, eventually going down 14–7. However, they responded strongly in the second fixture, showing excellent character, resilience, and intent.
In the second game, the team came out with renewed energy and purpose, delivering a dominant performance. Strong defensive organisation and relentless pressure led to a well-earned 21–7 victory over SCIS.
A key feature of the performance was the *heavy, hard tackling* from Elijah and Nathanael, who set the tone defensively and lifted the intensity of the entire team.
Eli was named Man of the Match, impressing throughout as the team’s key tactician, directing play with composure and making smart decisions under pressure.
Overall, it was a positive home debut that highlighted the team’s growing cohesion, physicality, and fighting spirit.
