Sports' Update

The U15 boys B team took part in the Division 1 tournament hosted by Greensteds school. In their first match they played against Braeside Thika which was tightly contested. However, in the second half, many missed tackles put us on the back foot conceding 2 trys resulting in a 10-12 loss.
We then played BGE and put on a great defensive display in the first half with the team committing a lot more to tackles. BGE were able to manage us and deny our attacking advances. Final score 7-14. We went into our final game against Greensteds with one mission only, to bring back a result from this tournament.
It was a fantastic effort from the boys until the final minutes of the game but nonetheless the team was successful in reaching their target. Final score 14-12. Try scores: Jesse and Kuay.

U15 Girls Rugby 7-aside vs. BGE
It has been a phenomenal season for the Under 15 girls rugby. As we came to the season closer at the final meet of the series in Braeburn Garden Estate, one could not help but admire the strides this team has made. The girls won their first three matches with outstanding 22-0, 24-0 finishes against Nairobi Academy and Crawford; and a 14-5 finish over Braeside Thika.
A two-try loss against Hillcrest and one try to Brookhouse Karen closed the day. Nevertheless, never has the team showed such grit, intensity, and fight as they did this Saturday. It was truly remarkable to watch them battle, blood and tears, for their performances. We finish a proud team, confident that we have worked and given that season our best.
Thank you to our captains, Enzi Karaka and Laura Masika for the outstanding leadership. Congratulations Aida Niang on this Saturdays’ double nomination for MVP. And great job Christie Kamotho and Imani Lukhale for the consistent performances and hard work! Indeed, the entire team has really stepped up this week, and we are truly proud of you!

Hillcrest U15 7's Tournament
U15 boys Rugby team showed tremendous progress at the Hillcrest U15 Sevens Tournament, finishing 6th overall after a day of exciting and competitive rugby.
