13th March 2026
It was a day of elite hoops and high drama at the BGR Division 1 Tournament. Entering the day as the tournament favorites, our U15 Boys lived up to the hype, putting on a masterclass of skill, teamwork, and intensity throughout the day.
The boys dominated the early stages of the competition, showcasing the incredible progress they’ve made throughout the term. However, the unpredictability of sport struck in the semi-finals; in a nail-biting finish that could have gone either way, the team fell short by just a single basket taking them out of the competitionat this stage.
While it was a heartbreaking end to their tournament run, it takes nothing away from their stellar performance. This group has shown exponential growth over the last few months, evolving into a cohesive, elite unit that represents the very best of our basketball program.
The scoreboard reflects the result of one game, but it doesn't reflect the massive strides these athletes have made this term. They played like champions last weekend, even without the trophy.
The journey doesn't end here, it’s just fuel for the next season. We couldn't be prouder of their progress, their sportsmanship, and the way they represented us.

The girls took part in the KAISSO football tournament and made a very promising start. They managed to top the group with 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. They put in a great performance throughout then met BGE in the quarter final. It was a game where the girls built their confidence and constantly pressed against BGE but ended in a 0-0 draw. BGR were the unfortunately knocked out by penalties. Great performances all around despite and early exit.
Special mentions to our top goal scorer Amina Adam, our captain for the day, Mars Goitom, the defensive trio, Christie Wanjiku, Enzi Karaka and Shante Magero. Finally our keeper Yostina Tekie who was fantastic between the posts.
