Welcome Back!

10th January 2026

We warmly welcome all our families to a new year and a new term. This season presents a valuable opportunity to reset, reflect, and begin again.

After a period that may have included rest, quiet moments, time with loved ones, enjoyment, or a change of routine, we hope the end of 2025 allows you to feel rested, rejuvenated, and re-energised for the year ahead. We also recognise that for some families, the holiday period may not have been easy. If this was your experience, please know that your feelings are valid. A new beginning can also offer space to reflect, seek support, and extend grace to yourself for what you may have endured.

As the year begins, it is an opportunity to start moving forward with intention and purpose. This can be supported by:

Evaluating the past: Reflecting on what went well, identifying areas that needed improvement, and considering how to maintain wellbeing while striving for growth.

Outlining intentions: Clarifying what you hope for yourself and your family in the present, and what you envision for the future.

Practising gratitude: Acknowledging the people, situations, and personal efforts that were supportive, positive, and meaningful.

Preparing for the Year Ahead

Set a strong foundation: Ensure the basics are in place by prioritising healthy practices both internally and externally. When the body and mind are well cared for, it supports clarity, focus, and the energy needed to engage fully. Simple habits such as staying hydrated, eating balanced meals, staying active, asking for support, and seeking professional help when needed are essential.

Embrace the present: While it is important to celebrate past successes and learn from challenges, creating space for the present allows new experiences and achievements to unfold.

Be open to new experiences: Making room for what lies ahead may feel unfamiliar at times. Openness to change and novelty allows for growth, learning, and the development of resilience—even when experiences are not always comfortable.

While each new year naturally follows the last, it is also an opportunity to learn from previous experiences and apply those lessons with intention. As a school community, we look forward to partnering with you throughout the year. Please remember—you already have what it takes to make this year a positive and meaningful one.
