World Swimming Games Updates 2026

This year, we took a total of 18 swimmers from both Prep and Senior School to represent Braeburn at the World Swimming Games held in London. All participants achieved personal best times across all strokes. The Senior school was represented by four swimmers; Ivar Winters, Christie Kimotho, Ali Jaipur and Swabri Tong. Each swimmer recorded personal best times in the events in which they participated. Ivar Winters, Ali Jaipur and Christine Kimotho who were participating for the first time, scooped each a medal in their respective strokes. Ivar - 100 backstroke - silver , Ali - 100 Butterfly and Christie - 100 Breaststoke - Bronze.

2nd Row: Quitijin Winters, Oscar Hurst Croft, Ali Jaipur- HS, Swabri Tong - HS, Ivar Winters HS, Christie Kimotho - HS, Joudy Hamouda and Mariel Kimuli.

The trip was exciting to all and the swimmers enjoyed a memorable journey on the Underground tube and an exciting tour of London on a double-decker bus.
