Year 10 and Year 11 Product Design, Travel and Tourism and Hospitality to NNP and Kitengela Glass - Thursday 18th

20th September 2025

On Thursday 18th September 2025, Year 10 and 11 Travel & Tourism and Product Design students enjoyed an exciting trip to Kitengela Glass and the Nairobi National Park.

At Kitengela Glass, we explored colourful sculptures, mosaics, and stained glass, all made from recycled materials. Product Design students gathered ideas and inspiration, while Travel & Tourism students saw how eco-friendly attractions can attract visitors. Watching artists melt and shape glass was a highlight — it felt magical!

At the National Park, we spotted giraffes, warthogs, and even argued over whether we saw a rhino or a buffalo. The mix of learning and laughter made it unforgettable.

The trip was a perfect mix of creativity, sustainability, and wildlife — with plenty of fun along the way.
