Year 11 Parents’ Evening
Thank you to all parents, guardians, teachers and students who attended Wednesday’s Year 11 PTC
The evening was positive, focused and encouraging. It was wonderful to see such strong partnership between home and school at this important stage of the academic year.
Discussions centred on progress, exam preparation and how best to support each student moving forward. Many students are showing maturity, commitment and real determination as they prepare for their final examinations.
Your time, presence and engagement make a significant difference. When we work together, our students benefit.

On Wednesday, 11th February, we held a productive and insightful Sixth Form Parent-Teacher Consultation.
The evening served as a vital touchpoint for parents and teachers to discuss the academic and personal progress of students following the recently concluded A-Level Trial Exams.
Key Focus: Performance & Progress
The primary objective was to review individual student performance in their trial papers.
Teachers provided detailed feedback on:
Strengths and Successes: Celebrating high achievement in specific subject modules and recognising areas where students have shown significant growth since the start of the year.
Trial Exam Analysis: Examining results to identify specific learning gaps and topics that require more intensive focus before the final summer examinations.
Actionable Next Steps: Collaboratively developing personalised revision strategies, such as utilising past papers and attending extra support sessions to boost confidence and grades.
Looking Ahead
As our Sixth Formers enter this final, critical phase of their A-Level journey, the partnership between home and school is more important than ever. We encourage parents to continue the conversations started on Wednesday by monitoring study schedules and supporting their child’s wellbeing during the upcoming revision period.
