Year 11 Geography and Environmental Management trip to Naivasha

28th October 2023

The Year 11 Geography & Environmental Management students had a first hand experience when they visited Kingfisher Farm, a commercial enterprise in Naivasha. This helped the students understand how both physical and human input combine through various processes to produce food.

Farm experts explained the impacts of agriculture on the environment and the various recycling methods used to minimise waste. It was fascinating to see the farm machines in operation.

The students were curious and asked questions which helped them gain a better understanding of agriculture. This is very helpful as they prepare for their IGCSE exam.

Thanks Flamingo Horticulture for having us and for the gift of a beautiful bouquet of flowers !
