Year 2 Fashion Show
This term in Science, Year 2 has been looking at ‘Everyday Materials’. To take our lessons out of the classroom and make it more interactive, the children held a fashion show where they demonstrated which clothes and materials are better to wear for different climates (hot or cold). Each pupil was able to talk about their choice of clothes and gave reasons why they chose them. They showed that they understand that the properties of different fabrics make them more suitable for use in different items of clothing, for different conditions.
