5th March 2024
Year 3 embarked on a fun-filled trip to Kazuri Crafts, aimed at enhancing their understanding of Ancient Greece. The visit occurred on March 5th and 6th, where our young Ancient Greece historians delved into the art of bead-making, observing craftspeople in action, making their own designs, and each receiving their personalised name bracelets to bring home.
They then visited Karen Village for an Ancient Greece art workshop tailored to further study how art was an important part of the era. This workshop featured three hands-on artistic activities: Ancient Greek theatre, mosaic glass art, and mask making. This trip proved to be both thrilling and educational for all participants, providing a memorable and enriching experience.
