Year 3's Trip to Ngong Forest

3rd December 2024

By Liban, 3B

On 3rd December 2024, Year 3s went on a trip to Ngong Forest. On the way there, we saw people cutting down trees, which encouraged us to plant more trees when we got there. Once we arrived, we followed the forest rangers to an auditorium where we learned about the many animals and plants found at Ngong Forest.

Later on, we went on a hike, seeing lots of different animals like butterflies, safari ants, kites, monkeys and a wide variety of birds. I really enjoyed catching a grasshopper, even though it took a long time to do so.

I love going on school trips, they are so fun and also help us to learn a lot of things.
