19th June 2024
From June 19th to 21st, the Year 3 pupils embarked on their highly anticipated annual residential trip to Brackenhurst, Limuru. This exciting adventure was crafted to enhance teamwork, resilience, and a host of other valuable skills as the Year 3s prepare to advance to Year 4. Upon arrival, our pupils received a warm welcome from the Infinity Outdoors crew, who promised and delivered an unforgettable experience. They engaged in a variety of team-building activities, including relay races, watermelon eating contests, and elf house building, fostering camaraderie and endless fun.
One of the trip’s highlights was a 2.5km hike through the stunning Brackenhurst grounds. Along the way, children created their own personalised nature bands, deepening their connection with the environment and sparking their creativity. The excitement continued into the evening as the Year 3’s gathered around a campfire to roast marshmallows and share stories. The joy of sleeping in bunk beds and bonding with friends made the nights as memorable as the days.
The trip to Brackenhurst was filled with wonderful memories that the Year 3s will cherish for years to come. It was an enriching experience that significantly contributed to their personal growth and readiness for the challenges of Year 4.
